What are Raked Hands?

Raked hands are when a small amount is removed from the pot of real money ring games as a fee to use the poker server. Our rake chart shows how we rake our games. When playing, if a small amount of the pot is moved to the left of the board cards then a rake has been taken. You will only be counted in a raked hand if you have contributed to the pot (bet or posted a blind). We also have a "No flop, No drop" policy, whereby we take no rake if the hand ends before the flop.

How do I register and un-register for Freerolls and Tournaments?

To register, simply double click on the Freeroll or Tournament that you wish to enter and click on the 'Register' button in the bottom right hand side of your screen.

You must ensure registration before the start time. For Freerolls and scheduled tournaments, registration usually begins 2 hours before and will finish 1 minute prior to commencement.

Sit N Go Tournaments also require registration; however there are no time limits. Registration begins when a table is available and will finish when the required player total is reached.

To un-register from any tournaments, click the 'De-Register' button in the tournament details. Any buy-in cost will be refunded if you un-register prior to commencement.

What are rebuys and addons?

A Re-buy & Add-on tournament allows you to re-buy into the game when you bust out (lose all your chips) and/or add on additional chips during the game. These tournaments have a predetermined rebuy period but generally it is during the first hour of play up until the first break. During the rebuy period you are allowed a fixed number or unlimited number of re-buys depending how the tournament has been set up.

A re-buy is permitted during the rebuy period only if your chip count is equal to or less than the amount of chips you had at the start of the tournament.

An add-on will be available during the first break of a Re-buy & Add-on tournament. All players that are still active in the tournament will have the option to purchase an add-on regardless of how many chips they have at the time. The cost of an add-on is generally the same as the cost of the original buy-in. The number of chips provided with an add-on is the same or slightly more than the original buy-in.

Re-buys can be purchased by clicking on the 'Rebuy' button on the game table. Add-ons are offered when the break starts and you just need to select your payment option and click 'yes' in the add-on window. There is no additional fee paid when re-buys and add-ons are purchased which means that all re-buys and add-ons are added to the tournament prize pool. The total prize pool and the payout structure will not be finalized until both the re-buy and add-on periods have closed. Rebuys and add-ons will be disabled if the tournament has already begun paying winnings out of the prizepool before the rebuy period ends.

For complete re-buy and add-on details for a specific tournament please log in to the Poker Room, open the Tournament Lobby and check the re-buy and add-on information fields.
